Education Matters
Final Analysis has a high bar for inspector education because what the inspector knows about a property, is what the clients learns about the property. That’s why we maintain one of the highest internal educational standards in the industry.
- Virginia DPOR Approved Training Provider – For Home Inspector course licensing and New Residential Systems (NRS)
- U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge Training Provider – We are a training provider for transitioning veterans.
- Mandatory continuing education – Our inspectors are required to complete 52 hours of continuing education training each year.
- Selective recruitment – All considered candidates must have experience and education in similar trades with a conducive aptitude and intellect towards home inspection.

In a time when property inspections were merely a concept, Final Analysis Property Inspections was founded by visionary entrepreneur Daniel Rogers in 1991. Drawing upon his extensive background as a builder, quality engineer, and technical writer, he envisioned a company that would define the standards of property inspections and provide a viable service to his clients.
Completing many thousands of inspections across 35 years, Dan says trust and ultimate client satisfaction is the bedrock of his success. His commitment to competency, accuracy, transparency, and clear communications is at the core of his values as each inspection gets the care and dilligence it deserves.

Since a young age, I’ve been fascinated by construction and building systems and have gained exstensive knowledge and experience renovating my own homes and investment properties. It’s liberating to understand how structural and other systems work in a home and it’s empowering that I can apply this knowledge as a professional home inspector.
Home inspections have given me an outlet to share this knowledge with my clients so they too can be empowered and protected during a home purchase. I love helping people this way. Every home can be different, old and new, complex and simple, they each have their own personalities of construction techniques, evolutionary changes and sometimes very interesting characteristics. My favorite part of inspecting is finding those “easter eggs”, the hidden surprises that are just waiting there for me to discover.

Emily with her husband has owned and operated their logistically demanding and successful Events business for 20+ years. During the Covid-19 shutdowns in 2020, they decided it would be a great opportunity for Emily to pursue full time, her lifelong interest and passion in the building sciences, construction, and inspections. Emily has extensive experience in renovations and building systems, is a board-certified inspector, and has determined to utilize that experience and expertise as a professional Inspector to the benefit of her clients.
As a veteran of the US Marine Corps, Emily has a high work ethic and does not shy away from rolling up her sleeves and tackling some of the physical demands required of a good inspector. She goes the extra mile for her clients! Her extensive business acumen has given her the eloquence, professional poise, and organizational skills needed to provide detailed, comprehensive, and competent inspections with exceptionally well-written reports that are second to none.

Long before my retirement from the US Navy I had planned for my second and last career and decided home inspections was a perfect fit for my navy experience and engineering mindset. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, building a strong foundation in customer relationships and service, professional ethics, and business operations. Throughout the inspection, Todd was thorough and meticulous, checking every inch of the property. He answered every question my realtor and I had, providing clear explanations for any issues he noticed. His attention to detail was outstanding, and I felt confident in his findings.
